Inside the busy lives of Tim Tebow and wife Demi-Leigh

Demi-Leigh Tebow couldn’t stop smiling when her husband, Tim Tebow, was asked about what the couple is looking forward to as 2023 comes to an end.
The former NFL player-turned-ESPN football analyst played coy while Demi-Leigh excitedly nudged him.
“Well, he’s being very humble,” the former Miss Universe 2017 told The Post in a joint interview with Price.com to promote how consumers can use eCommerce and shop for good this holiday season without breaking the bank.
Demi-Leigh was referring to Tebow not mentioning that he was just days away at the time from being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas as part of the Class of 2023.
“I thought he would never mention that,” she said, laughing.
“It’s exciting,” said Tebow, who was visibly blushing.
It’s all part of a busy schedule for the former Heisman winner.
The 36-year-old has seemingly exhausted his dream of being a professional athlete after a two-year NFL career, a noteworthy run up the Mets’ minor-league system that ended at Triple-A and an attempted football return with the Jaguars in 2021 with old Florida coach Urban Meyer.
Still, there remains a broadcasting career.
Charities.
A marriage to Demi-Leigh, with the couple set to celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in January.
Three dogs, better known as the Tebow Pack.
Coaching?
“It’s appealing to me. It really is,” Tebow said. “I love the thought of mentoring young men. I love the thought of coaching. I really do. I think the reason that it would be hard for me to probably ever pull the trigger is coaching is way more than a full time job would ever be — and I love the other things that we get to do, especially our foundation.
“We’re in 88 countries around the world and trying to serve the world’s most vulnerable people, and I just knew I would have to stop doing so much of that — and that’s what I feel like is even more important of a calling than coaching. I love the thought of it, but I love what I get to do now, I think that would be the hardest thing to try to give up.”
Tim and Demi-Leigh met through Night to Shine, which is part of his non-profit Tim Tebow Foundation, in early 2018, and he confirmed they were dating in July of that same year.
The model didn’t know much about football at the time, but that’s not what brought them close.
“Well, I always say that when I first met Tim, I knew nothing about football, but it wasn’t what we had in common that drew us closer, but what we had in purpose,” Demi-Leigh said.
“It’s really great that we, as a married couple, get to live our life with purpose and have impact along the way, and to be able to do that together is being a big part of the foundation of our relationship.”
The couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at the La Paris Estate in Cape Town, South Africa in 2020 — one year after the Florida Gator great proposed to the former Miss Universe 2017 at his family’s farm in Florida on Jan. 20, 2019.
“We definitely love getting to celebrate, it’s going to be fun,” Tebow and Demi-Leigh said.
That won’t be the only milestone the couple will celebrate in January.
“On that same day [as our anniversary] is also one of our three dogs’ birthday,” Tebow, 36, said. “The next day is another one of their birthdays, and then two days after that is another one of their birthdays.”
Paris, a Dalmatian is “named after our wedding venue, which was La Paris in South Africa,” Demi-Leigh said.
Their Golden Lab, Kobe, is named after Kobe Bryant, and their Bernise Mountain is named Chunk, “because he looks like a chunk,” Tebow said.
“His name so fitting, the least meaningful name,” Demi, 28, said, laughing. “He’s the best, best boy.
“I might be guilty of getting us all matching pajamas at some point!”
A part of that purpose is a shared passion for supporting each other’s careers.
“So, I don’t know a lot about football, but I get to support him, and that’s important to me,” Demi said.
“The first thing I learned when I moved to the United States was ‘Go Gators.'”
Tebowwas the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, and a three-time finalist for the prestigious award.
Tebow praised Demi-Leigh for the success of her Unbreakable brand, which is a confidence-building community that educates, equips and empowers women to overcome challenges, break barriers and realize their full potential.
“She’s inspiring to me,” Tebow said. “She’s did amazing and it was such an encouragement to so many women involved.”
Tebow surprised Demi-Leigh at her Unbreakable Conference in Jacksonville, Fla. on Oct. 7.
“He was the greatest support,” she gushed. “I didn’t even know she was going to be there.”
Tebow and Demi-Leigh also enjoy working out together and trying healthy substitutes for holiday dishes.
“She just kicks my butt,” Tebow said, referring to their gym sessions.
“I’m obviously not a professional athlete, but I do love following a healthy diet, and that’s something that we love exploring together is healthy substitutes for traditional Thanksgiving or Christmas meals,” Demi-Leigh said.
Tebow isn’t the cook in the household.
“I get to do the dishes,” he said, laughing.
“He’s a mean breakfast cook,” Demi-Leigh chimed in. “You cook a good breakfast!”
The couple is also looking forward to spending time with family this holiday season, and helping others get gifts for loved ones with deals and discounts through Price.com — where users can receive cash-back and promos when they give to over 200,000 charities, as well as exclusive discounts, promo codes and the best prices at their favorite retailers.
“Our family is literally all over the world so we try to see as much family as possible while doing our different work,” said the former outfielder.
Tebow, who joined ESPN in December 2013 as a college football analyst for SEC Nation, still appears on the travel show, and contributes to other programs as well.
